Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons in the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be among the greatest tight ends in history. In addition to being the league's top receiver for yards, and the third in total receptions, Gonzalez was also among the NFL tight end with the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's studio. Since the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been a fixture in FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring from the NFL following the year 2013 wasn't true. On the 15th of March 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons an agreement for two years worth $14,000,000. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez, who was 37 at the time, completed the year that ended his professional career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
